Check out The Met’s PUNK: Chaos to Couture exhibition from May 9th to August 14th, 2013.

One of my favourite neighborhoods in the city is the charming Greenwich Village – I was recently on a food and culture tour around Bleecker Street and some of the lovely cross streets, and added numerous places and specialties to my favourites list (like Faicco’s famous rice balls and Rocco´s delicious cannolis!).

Here I am in between food tastings showing off my new tee from OAK – featuring a less than subtle american gesture…

I’m also flashing my new BFF that follows me everywhere – the Laurie fringe bag from Acne.

And my new sunnies from Guess (a $29 C21 Bargain!), and of course my watch and Line&Jo rings.

As the shop assistant at HL so truthfully stated “Helmut Lang shoes completes Helmut Lang jeans”. And since the SoHo store had a 25% Friends & Family Discount (as they call it) I considered it a crime not to treat myself with these beauties!

Saturday I stopped by MILK Gallery for the “Natural Beauty” exhibition by Photographer James Houston. I absolutely LOVE his work and experiencing the enlarged photos side by side on the gallery wall completely blew me away! He has a way of bringing colours to life in this vivid dreamy universe that amazes me every time I look at his photos. As stated the exhibition “bring together two of Houston’s great passions – the human form and the natural world” and features a captivating selection of beauty shots vs. nature shots, portraits of models and celebrities, and film installations.

In co-operation with MILK and environmental non profit Global Green USA the goal with the exhibition is to raise awareness and funds for the environment and sustainable living.

I of course had to buy the book – It not only features all the photos from the exhibition but 200 glossy pages of pure beauty!

The exhibition at MILK Gallery runs through May 5th and is definitely worth the visit!

Last week I stopped by the Agency V press day. They had some new brands that really caught my eye – like New York based accessories brand Mordekai. The designer behind the brand – Ken Borochov – is also the creative mind behind Lady Gaga’s 24k gold wheelchair “the chariot”. So this guy got some glammed up skills!

How awesome are these headpieces? Okay maybe not for everyday wear… but for a fashion story their seriously amazing!! My head is already bursting with ideas on ways to use them!

A high-end bride (or greek goddess) could definitely pull this off!

 Another brand that really blew my mind is the (also New York based) designer Zana Bayne who handcrafts these outstanding leather pieces! Yes they may inspire some S/M thoughts but again, for the right fashion story they’re amazing!!

Bayne is also collaborating with designer Prabal Gurung on his F/W 2013 collection. Combined with Prabals suited bodycon jacket the leather harness beautifully compliments the look and actually makes sense as everyday wear, right?

I absolutely LOVE these stunning pictures of all time favourite MUSE Julianne Moore! Shot by Photographer-dreamteam Inez and Vinoodh for the Spring/Summer 2013 issue of T Magazine (The New York Times Style Magazine). She makes me wan’t to color my hair red, turn green eyed, bleach out my skin and add some freckles (pushing it a bit maybe but you get the point).

Moore is simply amazing in everything she does. If you haven’t seen her performance in Tom Fords movie “A Single Man” yet – shame on you! (Netflix your way to it here!)

Spring has finally sprung in NYC! I spend my sunny Sunday in Williamsburg lunching at Cafe Colette and exploring the Williamsburg flea market.  It’s amazing how the neighborhood blossoms as soon as the sun shows.

After weeks of longing to wear my new Proenza Schouler denim jacket this was finally the time! – with Chanel sunglasses, Acne bag, Elizabeth & James sweater, Urban Outfitters jeans and shoes by Alexander Wang.

April 1st the inevitable happened – I got a year older! To celebrate this I invited 10 fave ladies and 1 fab gent to a dinner/dancing B-day Bash at the amazing surroundings at SOHO Kontorhotel in Copenhagen.  The night got off to a great start with a 4 course dinner from Cofoco including their out-of-this-world delicious Chocolate tarte, and ended at 5am with drunken balloon-dancing to 90s music and creative cocktails (the infamous mix of leftovers). My amazing friends og family spoiled me crazy with the best presents EVER!
